President Tinubu has sacked Mele Kyari, the Group CEO of NNPCL, and appointed Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari as the new GCEO, alongside Ahmadu Musa Kida as the non-executive chairman. Nigeria's House of Representatives has passed a bill for its second reading that proposes a maximum age limit of 60 years for individuals contesting for the offices of President and Governor.  This bill, sponsored by Rep. Ikeagwuonu Ugochinyere, seeks to amend the 1999 Constitution, specifically Sections 131 and 177, to include this age restriction. A notorious bandit leader, Isuhu Madele, also known as Dan Isuhu, has been killed in an ambush by a rival gang loyal to Dogo Gide.
