She'd Come In Via Helicopter; She Was Ahead Of Her Adversaries—Jide Jimoh

During the homecoming of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the heavy security measures that shut down an entire senatorial district in Kogi Central were criticized by Professor Jide Jimoh, who is the Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies at Lagos State University (LASU). This criticism was made in an interview with Channels Television. As he emphasized that the move raised concerns about political freedom and democracy in the state, he questioned why such extreme actions were taken to prevent her visit. He highlighted the fact that the move raised concerns.

In spite of the fact that security barricades blocked all major roads leading to her destination, Natasha was able to outmaneuver her competitors by arriving in Kogi via helicopter. The unexpected move that she made was a demonstration of her strategic foresight and resilience, as Professor Jimoh pointed out. He referred to it as a courageous declaration against the forces that were attempting to stifle her political engagement with the people of Kogi Central.

The question is, "How is it possible to shut down an entire senatorial district of the local government simply because somebody is trying to visit with them?" The question was posed by Professor Jimoh. “As far as strategic planning was concerned, she was in a better position than her competitors. After observing that all of the roads leading to the location where she was supposed to go had been blocked off by security agencies, I never anticipated that she would arrive on a helicopter. She had a significant advantage over her rivals in terms of strategy.”
