Margaret Keenan, 91, the World’s first patient to get Covid vaccine has received her second dose of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine.

She had her follow-up injection today and is now at home and recovering well, the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust said.

The grandmother made headlines when she became the first person in the world to get the jab on December 8, and NHS England said that she would have a ‘booster jab’ 21 days later ‘to ensure she has the best chance of being protected against the virus’.

At the time, Margaret who hails from Enniskillen in Northern Ireland, but has lived in Coventry for more than 60 years said it was ‘a privilege’ to get the first dose, and said it was ‘the best early birthday present I could wish for’ after being ‘on my own’ for most of 2020.

She added: ‘I can’t thank May and the NHS staff enough who have looked after me tremendously, and my advice to anyone offered the vaccine is to take it – if I can have it at 90 then you can have it too.’

The former jewellery shop assistant, who only retired four years ago, turns 91 next week. She has a daughter, a son and four grandchildren.

Nigerian lady allegedly commits suicide three months after she publicly called out her pastor dad for allegedly repeatedly raping her

Ohirenua Giwa-Amu, the Nigerian lady who publicly called out her popular pastor dad, Femi Giwa-Amu for allegedly repeatedly raping her when she was 7-years-old has committed suicide.

Ohirenua's death was confirmed by her friends who penned down their tribute to her on social media.

Her uncle, Ozolua Giwa-Amu who confirmed her death in a Facebook post wrote;

Thank you all,

On behalf of the SIO Giwa-Amu family and specifically the Obafemi Ehimigbai Giwa-Amu (my elder brother), family of Evbiobe (Sabongida-Ora) Edo State, I state the following:

It is with the utmost regret it falls on me to announce, that our most beautiful daughter, Ohirenua Giwa-Amu, youngest daughter of Femi and Ngozi, passed away last night. This is a most heartbreaking day for us all.

On behalf of her parents, my mother, brothers, sisters, and the whole family I ask that you kindly say a prayer, light a candle, sing a worship song, for our little girl, that she may find eternal rest. Renua was a beautiful soul, may the Almighty have mercy upon her and receive her soul.

Renua, with so much pain, pls know, we will love you forever!!!

I thank you all.

Ozolua O Giwa-Amu Esq

On behalf of the SIO Giwa-Amu family.

Ohirenua had called out her father 3 months ago for repeatedly raping her when she was 7-years-old. She wrote at that time;

A “short” open letter to a certain

Mr OBAFEMI EHIMIGBAI GIWA-AMU:

I know that you are a child molester, your numerous victims outnumber you and I remember everything now. All I have to say to you is this:

You, your rings of pedophiles, bullies, thieves, hired cronies and family gang can do whatever you like in eternum. You already do so, and my belief in karma is strong enough to know that you have already begun the processes that will eventually be your own downfall. But lately, I got triggered again into remembering details about certain threats against me and my siblings you often made against our lives if I was ever to become successful and return to Nigeria after daring to come forward with my truth. I already did that. I had the nervous breakdown in 2018 when the truth about your various exploits and smuggling schemes finally came back to me in a big, horrible way.

So, take note; if really you want to live long enough to indeed be the old dog turning tired tricks that you already are, you would be advised to start covering your pedophile tracks more efficiently. We both know you won’t; that is how your specific and vile pathology works. I only feel sorry for the countless women and men who consciously or unconsciously allowed you access into their lives, homes, children and businesses over the decades of your horrific schemes. I wished that I could make you a better man when I was little and had no choice engaging in the things I eventually believed normal because of you. Not because you even deserve the simple joy of being a good person, but because this already wicked world never needed the vile stench of a soul like yours to walk it and the day you breathe last on it, will be a purer tomorrow.

All of that is fact, already known widely and in private, but after having to watch helplessly before while you took various jobs, titles and high positions that allowed you, smuggle and steal, trick innocent parents into sending their children places with you when really you know anything you did for money was always a reluctant business front you used to scout more victims, sophisticated scams and channels to perpetuate more crimes across international borders…. after watching you do all that and still manage to get away, living scot free off whatever femme du jour, I must admit it’s too hard to stay quiet again as an adult. Most people already know the thieving facts about you, but many more fools searching for quick easy money will always be happy to associate with a crook like you. So at this point, I just have to make a necessary, painful but awkward and public announcement for people in respectable society to understand that you should perhaps be discouraged from being such a homicidal thieving pervert, or maybe at least not be able to ask their kids to sit in your lap casually anymore.

People make strange choices indeed; I have never understood the adults in my life who had power to create positive change over certain situations and just simply never did. Some lack courage, some lack intuition, maybe others simply believe this is how the world works and don’t bother trying to fight anymore. Thankfully, the world has beaten, pissed on and shot me down enough (starting with a father like you) it has become a source of pride, joy, excitement, happiness and even vindictive pleasure for me to help make it a safer place, even just a little, by putting my feminist money where my mouth is and outing your miserable depraved self to the world and whomever might be concerned with this message.

To people associated with us both who try and guilt me into forgiving you, I sincerely hope they find either the healing or direction to understand why it is they feel personally incensed to police the tone and actions of a former child sex slave, or why they are willing to stick their necks out for a continuously harmful sexually offensive perpetrator who is wanted in several states across the world.

His current piggybank/wife has vulnerable & unwell children, and built him a makeshift church with a budding congregation over which he presided as pastor and held sermons. Some others have whispered of his political aspirations of seeking glory in the footsteps of his father who was once an attorney-general of the old mid-west states of Nigeria. So, sentiments and forgiveness aside, the man is still doing the things that nearly ruined my life, to others. And that alone makes me sick to my stomach. Someone needs to stop this madness before it affects a child you know, you knew or once trusted him with. Several of my nursery, primary school, and secondary school friends in Nigeria at some point or the other always had to eventually tell me they couldn’t come to my house anymore because my dad was “becoming a problem.”

It has to stop. I did my part in stopping this man from continuing to thrive amongst the chaos and disorderly nature of Nigerian living, both as a child and now as an adult. I have spent enough years cracking my brain over this and wondering what to do ever since I first noticed and wondered why my father always seemed to lick his lips while hungrily staring at any light-skinned children he spotted in Nigeria, as though he was about to eat a sandwich. I went through hell telling several adults who ignored, punished and dismissed me about this, to the point that I finally just dissociated and forgot a lot of this even happened until fairly recently. Whenever I remembered what he did to me as a child and attempted to tell anyone, and whenever he put me through his molestations, what followed was always an intense beating that always caused me to pass out and wake up feeling incredibly confused. It was a horrible, long process.

I do not ever seek out or ask for any informational updates about this man & his whereabouts as I do not associate with pedophilia in any format, and simply do not care to endanger my newly reclaimed safety by knowing him. Occasionally someone unwitting might think to use the concept of my child predator father to mock, insult or shame me. Source of shame that he is, I have no more guilt or anger towards myself and others who knew better, about this. Going through it all was the hardest part, but it took me many fractured years to piece myself together bit by bit, one PTSD flashback at a time, and it was a lifetime before I could look myself in the mirror and feel like I fully saw my own face. Entire chunks of my memory were once lost and taken from me, entire friendships and interests and hobbies and goals I had just vanished and might still not fully ever come back. Instead I carried around such intense feelings of shame, regret and self-loathing disgust that it consumed me most times. Good or bad, traumatic or not, those memories of mine that hurt me and triggered me for so long have finally woken me up and reminded me that I promised myself if I survived you, escaped, and somehow found enough sanity to be willing to return home that I would never set foot in Nigeria unless I had publicly acknowledged the fact that you continually raped me as a seven year old child until I had a possible prepubescent miscarry and almost died of sepsis. I wasn’t even in Primary 4 yet.

I want you to know that my new, fulfilled and much happier family is made up of the abandoned projects you neither truly cared for as a husband nor father, and we were the only ones who loved you so blindly enough that while you destroyed us everyday on the inside, your kids only ever wanted to make you proud. The awful, scary truth is that we would have stuck by you through anything till the end of whatever this “family experiment” was for you, and could have helped you learn a better conscience and ways to take care of yourself. Instead, you freed us with your selfish departure and really, that is the one thing I can honestly say I will never stop thanking you for. You being a selfish piece of shit is eventually always going to be the best thing that happens to the people around you, because you will always plan to leave them when it suits you to change “sleeves”, as you once called me.

One day though, you will run out of the means and channels to find new victims, and I want to hope that you remember not to be audacious enough to attempt manipulating any of your old discarded hostages into taking care of you. Most certainly not me. If you don’t want to suffer, my advice to you is that you either start saving some scammy bucks for old age, or you just find a private place where nobody else will be bothered & kill yourself. I can’t speak for my siblings, but me sha, I know old age is creeping on you around the corner and even if you mistakenly happened to tap any more heroin from your mother’s ass to call me one day and ask for help? I will personally ensure you kick the very first bucket that comes your way.

Let me be clear, for summary and support: you do not exist. We do not speak of you. Your name has been changed mentally so that even in casual conversation we reference you as Jack or John or something, I forget. You need to know that what you did to me, your family, siblings, and all the poor people you took advantage of literally broke your father’s heart when he found out. What you were doing to me and the poor people of apapa & ebute metta he trusted you to care for, not to smuggle, rape and pillage, devastated my poor Gramps. It deeply disappointed him; he fell so sick that he never recovered and I finally remember why you never wanted me to tell anybody how & when you found out that my grandfather was sick. You killed him, plundered his estates to sell my birthrights away and ensure your siblings would have to suffer.

But as we very well have seen, the truth endures. And now the truth about you has been shared freely, the entire world now is free and able to make educated decisions about associating with you. I know I wouldn’t, because I don’t. And no matter how many times you call me to threaten me, or beg through fake tears that you are sorry for everything you and your brother did to me, I am going to spend the rest of my life sticking to my truth and spreading the gospel of your horrible lifelong misdeeds. You can kill me tomorrow, the way you hired killers to track down & kill my mother for surviving the years of mental warfare and trauma you put her through including your messy stint in America (when you fled from Atlanta to Nigeria hiding from the FBI who are still hoping to catch you for the crimes of your drugs smuggling and child sex trafficking ring all over the entire state).

You could even succeed in ending me and it still wouldn’t matter because now, it’s actually worth it for me to die knowing I did for myself as an adult what I needed someone to do for me as a child, and to have survived here now. Nigerians might be an ignorant, unhelpful and irritatingly enabling lot when it comes to listening to children over the messy adults in their lives, but we are also a very very VERY nosy lot. Even if it’s just for the gist, people will certainly have lots of inconvenient, nasty lingering questions about my disappearance if it occurs too swiftly after sharing this truth, especially in a country like ours where everybody knows you have henchmen & cronies on speed dial. By all means please, make me a martyr, I’ve enjoyed my time here and will go in peace. Just in case your sorry, loathsome, dimwitted, tiny egg balloon dick having self still is unfortunately dumb enough to spite your own soul and seek me out, pray you don’t find me. If you do? Better turn heel and flee like it’s the FBI approaching. Because it just might be.

You fucking failure of a son & fraudster.

Gunmen kill mother and child in Benue

A woman and her young son have been killed by gunmen in Nagu village, Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State.

The armed men killed the woman, her son and her brother-in-law after razing part of Nagu village in the early hours of Sunday, December 27.

The attacks also left several persons injured while many have reportedly fled their homes to neighbouring villages for fear of being killed.

Confirming the incident, a former lawmaker that represented Katina-Ala East constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly, Mr Ianna Jato, said those killed in the attack were memebers of his family.

"The armed men came around 3 am, yesterday, and attacked Nagu, which is my village. They burnt part of the village after which they killed my brother’s wife, her son and another of my brother," he said.

“I cannot understand why they did this, but those behind the attack just called me a few minutes ago with the phone of my brother’s wife, which they took away after killing the woman

"They said I should tell the military personnel who are in Shetile land to leave our place otherwise they would continue to cause mayhem and also continue with the killings in our communities. I have reported the matter to the Divisional Police Officer in Katsina-Ala and he is making arrangements to evacuate the corpses.” he added.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Catherine Anene, confirmed the incident.

Russian dancer shot dead in Moscow street by hooded assassin after she had a fight with the wife of her politician lover

A Russian dancer, Natalia Pronina, 30, was shot dead this week on a Moscow street after allegedly having an affair with a politician.

Pronina was hunted down by a masked assassin as she returned home from a choreography session, according to reports.

The assassin wearing a hoodie fired a pistol from close range with a non-lethal self-defence gun redesigned for shooting with real bullets.

Police sources believe the shooter may have been a contract killer paid to assassinate her.

Pronina had been in a long term but secret relationship with a wealthy man - believed to be an MP, reports Russian magazine, Moskovsky Komsomolets.

They had been dating until this summer when the MP's wife allegedly learned about the affair and started threatening her.

Her boyfriend, Alexander Kravchenko, 33, has denied responsibility for the murder and said he was in Yalta in the Crimea, where he works, at the time.

He also claimed she had a stalker and that she had a £6,000 debt that she needed to repay.

In another twist to the tale, her friends have suggested she was killed on the orders of someone whose advances she had rejected.

A friend named Valeria told Komsomolskaya Pravda: “Only one of her admirers could be behind this because of jealousy.”

A former dancing colleague Anzhelika appeared to back the theory a spurned admirer could have been behind the killing.

“Natasha not only danced beautifully, she is a real beauty,” she said.

“Men always clung to her and it is possible that one of the rejected fans could have killed her.

But she added: “She did not have a serious relationship. She was not the type who dreams of a white dress and a bunch of kids.

27-year-old Nigerian man dupes Indian national by posing as owner of a UK pharmaceutical company

The accused Nigerian identified as Fulgens Quadio alias Kristopher Wilmer, 27,  was arrested in Mumbai on Thursday, December 24.

'Elizabeth'  said she needed Folic oil, which would be used to cure blood cancer, and she offered the complainant a business deal to export Folic oil from India and gave the contact details of a dealer/manufacturer of Folic oil in Mumbai, who was Sunitha of Star Enterprises.

Believing this to be genuine, Mr. Joseph contacted Sunitha and deposited ?40 lakh for exports.

Later, he realised that he had been cheated and hence he had lodged a complaint with the then Chennai City Police Commissioner and a case was registered by the Central Crime Branch and was taken up for investigation.

After investigation, a special team of police personnel arrested the accused in Mumbai. He was taken to Chennai by air and produced by the special team before a court. He was remanded for 15 days.

The Chennai City Cyber Crime Cell Police have advised the general public and businessmen not to invest money in these sort of commodity scams.

The Fuller House actress, 56, began her time behind bars in October at the Northern California facility FCI-Dublin. Her sentencing still includes two years of supervised release, as well as 100 hours of community service. Loughlin was ordered to pay a $150,000 fine, which she has completed.

As of Monday, December, 28, inmate records revealed that she has been released.

“Lori Loughlin has [been] released from the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Dublin in Dublin, California on December 28, 2020,” prison spokesperson Sally Swarts tells Yahoo Entertainment. “She is no longer in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons. For privacy, safety and security reasons, we cannot discuss release plans for any inmate.”

Loughlin's husband, Mossimo Giannulli, was also involved with alleged ring leader William "Rick" Singer. The fashion designer is currently serving his five months in prison and is scheduled to get out in April 2021. He, too, has already paid his $250,000 fine.

At her sentencing in August, Loughlin told the judge, "I ignored my intuition and allowed myself to be swayed from my moral compass. I thought I was acting out of love for my children but in reality it only underlined and diminished my daughters' abilities and accomplishments."

She added, "More broadly and more importantly, I now understand that my decision helped exacerbate existing inequalities in society generally and the higher education system more specifically."

Both parents pled guilty to conspiracy charges.

It was further learnt that the bandits stationed their men at all the junctions in the town and engaged the police in a gun battle around 4:30 am.

Solution to banditry in the north is in Zamfara - Governor Matawalle

Governor Bello Muhammed Matawalle has stated that the solution to the banditry ravaging the northern part of the country, is in Zamfara state which he governs.

The Zamfara state Governor said this while receiving members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by its Chairman Prince Uche Secondus, who paid him a condolence visit over the killing of eight persons in the convoy of the Emir of Kaura Namoda.

Matawalle described Zamfara as the epicentre of banditry in the North and further affirmed that the reign of bandits in Northern Nigeria will come to an end if all governors in the region form an alliance to destroy their (bandits) camps in Zamfara State.

He said;

“Zamfara is the epicentre of banditry in the North and if the issue of banditry is taken seriously in Zamfara State, I assure you the whole issue of banditry in Northern Nigeria will end.

“So, I’m calling on my colleagues and the security agencies to put more efforts in Zamfara State so that we can identify all the camps of the bandits and destroy them.

“If we don’t destroy them, we may not be able to end the issue of banditry in the North or Nigeria at large. No matter what the bandits tell you about dialogue or reconciliation, we must be able to mop up the weapons in their hands, without doing so, we are not doing anything."

Thomas Tuchel is sacked by PSG with ex-Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino 'set to replace him

Thomas Tuchel has been sacked by Paris Saint-Germain and is set to be replaced by Mauricio Pochettino.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss, 47, who joined the club at the beginning of the 2018-19 season, won six trophies with Les Parisiens, including back-to-back Ligue 1 titles, Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue in 2020.

But Wednesday night’s 4-0 win over Strasbourg was the end of the road for Tuchel despite PSG being third in the French league, just one point off top spot.

Before the game, Tuchel had given an interview in his homeland in which he was quoted as saying he had, at times, felt more like "a sports politician or sports minister than a coach" during his tenure.

After the win over Strasbourg, he attempted to clarify those comments to Canal+, saying: "I didn't say it's more about politics than sport, nor that I lost the fun of training. This is not true... It is possible they translated incorrectly.

"Watch the video interview. I just said that PSG are unique and that it's a big challenge for me. It's always been like that. I like this challenge and nothing has changed."

Asked for a second time about the remark, he added: "I gave a video interview to a journalist who told me to do a story about German coaches.

"It is not an interview for him. It is not allowed. I was making a joke in German. The translation is not correct. We cannot translate word for word.

"It was a joke while we were talking and it is not allowed."

Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is being lined up to take over from Tuchel with an announcement expected to be made soon.

Another mutant form of Coronavirus discovered in Nigeria

Another new variant of coronavirus has emerged in Nigeria, a leading public health official has said.

John Nkengasong, head of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, revealed the existence of the new P681H strain on Thursday, Dec 24, saying it is different from the ones found recently in the UK and South Africa.

The mutant strain of coronavirus has emerged as Nigeria reports a surge in the cases of coronavirus.

Coronavirus variants emerge routinely as the virus spreads. About 4,000 variants of the deadly virus has been recorded to date, but those in the UK and South Africa have been widely reported because scientists believe they are significantly more infectious than previous strains.

New variants can also affect the ability of coronavirus vaccines to fight the virus, though this is not thought to be the case with the UK or South African variant.

The Nigerian variant's potential effect on vaccines is so-far unclear.

"Give us some time," Dr Nkengasong said. "It's still very early."

The Nigerian variant was found in two patient samples collected on August 3 and October 9 in southern Osun state, a preliminary report into the virus said.

Unlike the variant seen in the UK, "we haven't observed such rapid rise of the lineage in Nigeria and do not have evidence to indicate that the P681H variant is contributing to increased transmission of the virus in Nigeria," the report added.

An  emergency meeting of the Africa CDC will now take place this week to discuss the new strains, including the one in South Africa that has seen cases soar.

Dr Nkengasong said the Nigeria CDC and the African Centre of Excellence for Genomics of Infectious Diseases will analyse more samples.

Give our military and other security agencies more time''- President Buhari appeals to Nigerians in his Christmas message

President Buhari has appealed to Nigerians to give the military and other security agencies more time to tackle the insecurity plaguing many parts of the country. The President made the appeal in his Christmas day message to Christians in the country.

The President in his message commended the military for the safe rescue of the Kankara schoolboys. He expressed sadness over the reported cases of abductions, particularly those whose victims are children.

''I wish to, therefore, enjoin fellow compatriots to appropriate the hope that comes with Christmas and reinvest trust in this Administration’s determination and unwavering commitment to restore peace, security and prosperity to our dear country.

Under my watch, the Federal Government will continue to provide the needed support within available resources to the gallant members of our armed forces and security agencies as they confront threats to our citizens. While I commend them for their efforts so far, I urge them to do more to checkmate increasing incidents of security threats especially in the northern parts of the country as well as the entire nation in varying degrees. Their display of tact, camaraderie, and expertise that led to the recent return of abducted schoolboys of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, will remain a milestone in the annals of the country.

For me, providing security for all residents in the country remains an article of faith. It formed a vital segment of this Administration’s three-point agenda right from inception, and we must follow through with it.

I cannot in good conscience shirk this cardinal responsibility to secure lives and property. I feel pained each time a breach of peace and security occurs in any part of the nation. I am even more distressed when our youths, especially school children, are the targets and victims of mindless and malevolent elements in society. As a parent, I share the emotional torture and agony parents and guardians go through whenever their children and wards fall into the cruel hands of these enemies of decency and good society.

I plead with fellow compatriots to give our military and other security agencies more time, cooperation and support by volunteering credible intelligence/information on activities of armed bandits, insurgents and other criminal elements within their communities in order to put an end to this blight on our security landscape.

To be sure, the problems are beyond the simplistic options being bandied around. We shall remain focused on following the complex, multi-dimensional route to reducing the incidents of insecurity to the barest minimum. Our people must be free to live and move without let or hindrance. This is crucial not only to enthroning an atmosphere of calm and social cohesion, but for the economy to grow.

Let us use this season of goodwill and joy to renew our faith in the ability of this Administration to make a lasting difference in the lives of our hard-working people. Our Social Intervention measures and other economic policies are already yielding positive results even at modest rates.''

The President in his Christmas message said his administration guarantees the right to peaceful protest but that it will not fold its arms and allow the protest to degenerate into wanton killings and destruction of properties.

''Let me reiterate that while the right to peaceful association and protest is guaranteed under our laws, this Administration will not fold its arms and watch protests however well-intended, degenerate into wanton killings of law enforcement and other security personnel as well as destruction of private and national assets.''

He appealed to Nigerians to adhere strictly to all of the COVID19 protocols.

''There is every indication that our country is already experiencing a second wave of COVID-19 infection. As we celebrate Christmas with families and friends, I urge all citizens and residents to adhere strictly to the non-pharmaceutical prevention guidelines of regular hand-washing, wearing masks and social/physical distancing with a view to mitigating the spread of this devastating virus. While national and state institutions are trying their best, we must take individual responsibility and resist the strong temptation of compliance-fatigue by following the recommended protocols put in place by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and beat the ravaging pandemic.

I have absolute confidence in the spirit of resilience of our people to do the needful and remain vigilant even as this festive season witnesses increased travels and celebrations. Staying alive to enjoy future festivals should be the watchword.''the President said

He wished all Nigerians divine protection and a Merry Christmas.

Repentant bandits helped to secure Kankara schoolboys release —Presidency

The Presidency, on Tuesday, said repentant bandits played a role in securing the release of over 300 schoolboys abducted from Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said although no ransom was paid, there were negotiations between the major actors, adding that while the talks were on, the troops of the Nigerian Army encircled the Zamfara forest where the hostages were held.

Gunmen on motorcycles attacked the school on December 11 and abducted the students a few hours after President Muhammadu Buhari, arrived in the state for a week-long private visit.

Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, however, announced the release of the 344 schoolboys six days after their abduction by bandits. The governor also said the students were released in a forest in Zamfara State.

The military had since claimed victory for the release of the students. The presidency had also praised the military for the rescue of the schoolboys. But both claims by the army and the presidency contradicted Masari’s position that the release of the boys was facilitated by the leadership of Miyetti Allah/MACABAN.

Speaking Tuesday morning on the conflicting accounts surrounding the release of the schoolboys, Shehu said the most important thing was that the boys had been reunited with their parents.

He said, “In all of the things that played out, we must thank God for bringing these children out. Glory also belongs to the nation. I don’t see much conflict in all of these things.

“The security services – Army, police, intelligence agencies – showed good judgement and capacity by promptly responding to the kidnap of those students and then locating exactly where they were being held.

“Having done that, they quickly mobilised and surrounded the entire place to ensure that they do not go out, and they do not come in. So, whatever followed after that is to reap from the gains of what has been done.”

He explained that the security forces locked in on the captors of the students in the Zamfara forest, adding that no single shot was fired to avoid fatalities.

“So, the military, having identified where they were, in less than 24 hours after the kidnap, patiently waited for the process of the negotiations to be concluded. And at the end of it, everyone is happy that it ended the way it did,” Shehu said while featuring on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily programme.

On whether a ransom was paid to secure the release of the students, Shehu said, “All of the leading actors said no ransom was paid. The governor of Zamfara State, who had a policy of engagement with the bandits leading to the surrender and renouncement of bandits, used reformed bandits –repentant bandits – to gain access to those that were in the forest and they had them (schoolboys) released.

“So, to the best of our knowledge, all the leading actors in Katsina and Zamfara States said no ransom was paid.”

Shehu also described as ridiculous claims that the Kankara schoolboys’ abduction was stage-managed.

Enugu pastor impregnates 20 church members, including in-law, claims he is obeying a spiritual order

A 53-year-old supposed pastor has reportedly impregnated 20 members of his church congregation claiming being instructed by the Holy Spirit to do so.

The self-acclaimed clergy man is said to be cooling off in the custody of the Enugu State Police Command.

The pastor, identified as Timothy Ngwu, is said to be the ‘General Overseer’ of Vineyard Ministry of the Holy Trinity in Enugu.

The police spokesperson, Ebere Amaraizu revealed that the pastor has been charged for s.e.x abuse.

“The pastor claims to be obeying spiritual orders to do the will of God, which is to impregnate any one chosen and revealed by the holy spirit, irrespective of whether the woman is married or not,” said Amaraizu.

“When the woman delivers, the child is supposed to remain in the ministry with the mother for life,” he added.

It was gathered that the pastor was reported at the police by his own wife who got tired of his behaviour after he also impregnated her young niece.

In his defense, the pastor said he never had s3x with any of the married women unless their husbands agreed with the request of the Holy Spirit.

Approximately, he said he has five wives with 13 children along with other concubines he got after the Holy Spirit commanded him to do so.
