A 53-year-old supposed pastor has reportedly impregnated 20 members of his church congregation claiming being instructed by the Holy Spirit to do so. The self-acclaimed clergy man is said to be cooling off in the custody of the Enugu State Police Command. The pastor, identified as Timothy Ngwu, is said to be the ‘General Overseer’ of Vineyard Ministry of the Holy Trinity in Enugu. The police spokesperson, Ebere Amaraizu revealed that the pastor has been charged for s.e.x abuse. “The pastor claims to be obeying spiritual orders to do the will of God, which is to impregnate any one chosen and revealed by the holy spirit, irrespective of whether the woman is married or not,” said Amaraizu. “When the woman delivers, the child is supposed to remain in the ministry with the mother for life,” he added. President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to meet with members of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19 this afternoon, the Presidency has said. This was disclosed in a tweet by @NGRPresident stating; “@MBuhari will meet with the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 this afternoon.” The meeting, it is gathered will hold at the Aso Villa in Abuja, and it is coming at a time the country is battling the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. The PTF Chairman and Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, yesterday announced fresh guidelines to curb the spread of the virus for the next five weeks. He had announced the closure of all bars, night clubs, pubs and event centres, and recreational venues.

Nigerians have taken to Twitter to cry out over a new security outfit called 'NDLEA SWAT' which seems to be operating on highways in the country.   Some Nigerians who shared photos of the security operatives, queried authorities on why they are on the road with guns and searching peoples phone.

The governor of Zamfara state, Bello Matawalle, has said it is insulting for the ruling party, APC, to accuse him of sponsoring bandits in his state.   Recall that last week, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, Yekini Nabena, released a statement in which he alleged that a Northwest governor is behind the heightened cases of banditry, abductions, and other violent crimes in the region. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission NIDCOM, has responded after activist, Aisha Yesufu, called her out for blocking someone on Twitter.   Over the weekend, Ms.Yesufu shared a screenshot of Dabiri-Erewa's Twitter handle and wrote ''Imagine a public servant like @abikedabiri blocking someone. How pathetic! If you do not want to be held accountable then resign. Nobody asked you to do the job. They are not interacting with your personal self, they are interacting with your official self that is serving.'' When a Twitter handle pointed out that she has the right to block anyone since it is her personal handle, Ms. Yesufu responded  ''Personal handle with Chairman on it? Biko, rate yourself high! Responding via her Twitter handle, Ms. Dabiri-Erewa pointed out that she can block anyone she wants to block at any time.

An elderly man was found dead in a guest house in Ghana after checking in with a 25-year-old lady believed to be his 'side chick'   The man, 66, who gave his name as William Agyei to the receptionist, drove a Red Toyota Corolla with registration number ER 1614 -17 to the guest house with the lady on December 19, 2020, Kasapa FM Online reported.   According to the receptionist, she found the man lying motionless the next day, Sunday, December 20, when she forced her way into the room to clean after knocking for several minutes with no one answering.   The report said the lady who checked in with the man was nowhere to be found when the receptionist went to the room.    The owner of the guest house in Koforidua in the Eastern region reported the incident to the Effiduase police.    Investigators who went to the scene reportedly found several sex enhancement drugs including viagra for men, deep heat spray, unirob polar ice, bendroflumethiazide tablets, and several other used table...

The Diocesan Bishop of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) of Ekiti West, Rufus Adepoju, has been suspended for alleged involvement in sexual misconduct. Mr Adepoju, according to a letter dated December 11, 2020 seen by Premium Times, was said to have been caught with the wife of a priest under his employment and care. The suspension letter was signed by the Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Most Rev Henry Ndukuba. The Bishop also reportedly admitted wrongdoing. “Advent greetings in the precious name of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ,” the letter said. “We write with a deep sense of concern and pain to suspend you from office as the Diocesan Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Ekiti West. “This is sequel to your conduct giving just cause for scandal and abhorrent sexual behaviour with the wife of a priest under your employment and care.
