Wizkid and Jada Pollock: A Powerful Duo in Music and Life

Nigerian music icon Wizkid (Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun) and his manager and partner, Jada Pollock, remain a dynamic force, both professionally and personally.
Their journey began in 2012 when Jada, then managing American superstar Chris Brown, met Wizkid during a tour stop in Lagos. Captivated by his talent, she took on the role of his manager, playing a pivotal role in propelling him to global stardom through collaborations with international artists like Drake and Damian Marley.
Their connection soon deepened beyond business. The pair welcomed their first son, Zion, in 2017, followed by a second son, AJ, in 2022. In October 2024, Wizkid confirmed they are expecting their third child, sharing his excitement on social media: “Yes o! We, Dey, feel am together! Can’t wait to meet my new baby!”
Despite their close partnership, Jada has openly addressed the frustration of being reduced to the label of "baby mama." In a December 2024 interview, she emphasized her significant contributions to Wizkid’s career and her broader impact in the industry: “I’m not only a mother but also a manager, and I’ve helped build a legacy.”
Their relationship has not been without challenges. In 2019, Jada accused Wizkid of domestic violence, a matter that drew significant public attention. The two later reconciled and have continued to grow stronger, both as partners and collaborators in the music world.
