According to a report by Daily Post, Popular Nigerian media personality Omotunde Adebowale-David, better known as Lolo 1, has revealed she was raped by a male colleague in the broadcasting industry, sharing her trauma for the first time on the 'Say My Piece' podcast.

With visible emotion, the actress disclosed: "I was raped once in my life, and it was by a colleague. I still see him often. Do you know how scary that is for me? Whenever I see him, I panic." Though she withheld identifying details, Lolo confirmed the assailant remains active in media circles and has since risen to a prominent position.

The Wazobia FM on-air personality explained why she kept quiet: fear of victim-blaming and the perpetrator's industry influence. "I've had to remember those painful moments again," she confessed, highlighting the psychological toll of encountering her abuser regularly at work events.

The Lagos Police Command has arrested socialite, Mike Eze, popularly known as Pretty Mike over the alleged breaching of COVID19 protocols by Cubana Nightclub.   The Nation reports that Eze is alleged to be a director in the Cubana group and went to the Bar Beach Police Division on Thursday morning, March 4, following last weekend’s arrest of 172 workers and clubbers at the Victoria Island branch of the nightclub.   The police on Monday, March 1, vowed to arrest the club owners or anyone who came forward to push the reopening of the nightclub as the club had consistently violated the COVID19 protocols.   Confirming his arrest, Commissioner of Police (CP) Hakeem Odumosu said Eze would be charged to court after he denied being a director at the club.   “Yes, we have arrested him and I have directed he be transferred to Ikeja where he would be charged to court'' Odumosu said"
