I didn’t deny that he is not my brother I understand the issues I am not tilting over to Jude’s side I am only standing for the truth. the same crime they are accusing Jude of being guilty of I and peter are also guilty of it.”

Paul Okoye says his brother Jude is to remain in jail till march after his bail application was rejected. Prosecution opposed his bail citing that Jude is a flight risk his counsel countered saying Jude has been fully cooperative with investigations, also told the court that Paul Okoye ‘rudeboy’ was in court to stand as surety. Paul Okoye was ordered by the court to submit his documents. Bail hearing was scheduled for march 3rd 2025 and trial set to commence April 14th 2025

His lawyer argued, requested that Jude continue to remain EFFCC detention pending his bail hearing but prosecution counsel argued against it citing overcrowding in the EFCC detention and urged the court to remand him in Ikoyi correctional facility.

Lagos police arrest Pretty Mike over noncompliance to COVID19 protocols by Cubana nightclub

The Lagos Police Command has arrested socialite, Mike Eze, popularly known as Pretty Mike over the alleged breaching of COVID19 protocols by Cubana Nightclub.   The Nation reports that Eze is alleged to be a director in the Cubana group and went to the Bar Beach Police Division on Thursday morning, March 4, following last weekend’s arrest of 172 workers and clubbers at the Victoria Island branch of the nightclub.   The police on Monday, March 1, vowed to arrest the club owners or anyone who came forward to push the reopening of the nightclub as the club had consistently violated the COVID19 protocols.   Confirming his arrest, Commissioner of Police (CP) Hakeem Odumosu said Eze would be charged to court after he denied being a director at the club.   “Yes, we have arrested him and I have directed he be transferred to Ikeja where he would be charged to court'' Odumosu said"
