Banditry: Buhari, Masari meet at Aso Rock



The President , Major General Muhammadu Buhari ( retd . ) , on Wednesday , met with the governor of his home state , Katsina , Aminu Masari.
The agenda of the meeting held inside the President’ s office at the Presidential Villa , Abuja, has yet to be made public as of the time of filing this report .
The meeting may , however , discuss security challenges , especially banditry , in the state and the entire North West .
The state has been under the siege of bandits lately .
The governor had recently lamented the insufficiency of police officers and security operatives to challenge the attacks by bandits .
Masari, speaking at a luncheon organised by the Nigerian Air Force to celebrate the Eid - El - Kabir with frontline troops in Katsina, alleged that bandits have become emboldened because of insufficient security operatives to tackle banditry in the state
